Declared as a tiger Reserve in 1983, this picturesque Reserve with its prodigious Terai, Bhabhar and hilly landscape up to an altitude of 5600 feet reveals astonishing range of biodiversity.
Apart from Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris), (31 in 1995 census) there are plenty of Leopards, Lesser cats, Civets, Malayan giant squirrel, Elephants, Gaur, Chital, Sambhar, Barking and Hog deer. |
